I hate writing about me statements, because they always sound ridiculously cheesy and narcissistic. 

That being said, reading the posts on this blog

(not that I'm under the delusion that anyone really does)

will probably be easier if you understand a little bit about the person who is writing them.

So here I am:

 

 A nearly-five-foot-tall college student trying to survive her journey into adulthood. 

Now, here is where you would normally find the cliche list of attributes commonly found on the blogs of girls like myself; it would be full of quirky, unique traits bound to earn the admiration of all who read them, and it would  not accurately describe me at all. 

I feel no need to describe or explain who I am to you, because that is not what this blog is for.

I write this blog simply because we live in a world that contains many beautiful,wondrous things that deserve to be appreciated and celebrated. I can't stop wars or end famines. But if I can make people stop and see the beauty around them,or bring a smile to someone's face; then I am changing the world in my own small way.
